Is digital intake slower than writing a job sheet?
Not once your common repairs are preset. Selecting a device and a fault is roughly as quick as writing, and it captures the customer, the price and the queue position at the same time.
Do I need to type up my old paper records?
No, and we would not recommend it. Start with new jobs and keep the old files for reference; the history builds itself from there.
Can customers still sign at intake?
Terms accepted at intake are recorded against the job, so the consent trail exists without a paper signature to file.
